If Obama leaves 50,000 Military in Iraq, and calls them "peacekeepers" who or what will protect those "peacekeepers"....?

For our troops everywhere that are left in other countries around the world, how are they protected? Are the US Military 30,000 in South Korea protected, in case North Korea sends a missile our way?

What if Iran decides to send a missile or two to the Eastern US and NK sends a few to the West Coast at the same time? Then what?
