After hearing on 60 Minutes tonight how the SEC did an 11-month informal investigation into Bernie Madoff a few years back then declined to open a formal inquiry, you know something is seriously wrong with how our regulatory machinery has come to function. We need real change we can believe in there, not even less government role than before.
