Well, 120% of everything Mr. Dell has said has come true so far.

The worst investing mistakes I've made over the past several
years has been selling portions of my Dell holdings and
every-single-time I've regretted it. Thank goodnes I've held
on to over half of it.

For instance,

Picked up a quick 500shrs in 95 and sold it for a 7k profit
in 2weeks.... felt pretty smart. If I'd just let that little
20k investment ride I'd have an xtra 400k today.

I peeled off 15% of my shares last Sept (2 splits ago)
when it hit 85 to "diversify". A few days later it was
at 75. My broker even went out of her way to call me
and tell me how "brilliant" I was at timing the market.

Again I felt pretty smart... another six figures down the tubes.

Just a few of my "brilliant" trades.

Not complaining, still got lots and lots and can withstand
any nasty correction. I somehow got lucky and managed to make a
large investment in this stock in Oct 93 after the notebook fiasco.
My latest investment strategy has been to hold on for dear life.

The moral of the story is don't time/trade/short or get spooked
out of this stock. You will regret it.
