Yes, you guys are all really confused about the Sunni/Shiite thing. They ALL hate America and when it comes down to it they are brothers in the jihad. One need only look at al Turabi in Sudan, the funding that occurred while AQ was based there, and the fact that Iran, Zawahiri, and (to a lesser extent) bin Laden have all cited Israel's existence as a reason for their hatred.

Saddam was no check on on Iran, you fool.
