Petz , re. relative valuation of Intel and AMD... If you take market capln. then Intel is 39x the value of AMD on P/S valuation Intel is 3.3 x AMD . I believe that what we are seeing with Intel is the start of a reappraisal in the valuation , from a monopoly to a company with lots of competition . Intel gave the game away when they hurredly dropped their chip prices even though AMD and Cyrix were not in a position to produce enough to pressure Intel's prices . This smacks of the paranoia that Groves is always referring to , but in this case I believe in overreacting he sent a bad message to Wall st. regards , Brian
