Re: "this will be the result of...." A GLOBAL economic collapse and catastrophe of gargantuan proportions, and over a decade of economic mistakes and serious mismanagement and incompetency.... (As for the equity markets --- 'bottoming' is a gradual process. We almost never see anything resembling a "V shaped bottom". Personally I don't expect the bottom to be "in" until the weather warms --- much later into Spring.) PS --- and all those folks standing in the way of counter-cyclical response actions are merely costing us time that we do not have... possibly seriously worsening and lengthening the disaster.
