re: ["we are not winning ANY of the battles"]
What do you want to do, roll over and give up?
You're beginning to sound like finallythere.
Stopping Tom Daschle was a major battle won.
Our worst nightmare would be having Daschle in charge of nationalizing our health care system.
I think we're going to win the coming gun grab battle, because of all the heat that's already on this administration over the banker bailouts, Tax Cheat Timmy, and bum rushing Congress with the housing bailout & stimulus packages.
And I agree with the importance of repealing the Patriot Act, Bush's Executive Orders, and bringing the NSA & CIA to heel.
There's going to be an unprecedented backlash in the 2010 elections. And those should be major campaign issues.
But, I think you're going to see a rising tide of Tea Party's, and people in the street prior to 2010.
In the interim, it's time to organize and fight them tooth and nail on everything else they're throwing at us.
Doing nothing, is not an option.
One person telling another, and educating and encouraging people to take action will multiply exponentially.
And it will make a difference.
It all starts with making that first phone call. Sending that first fax, or email. Talking to your co-worker at lunch, or you neighbor over the fence.
One man telling another.
One man spurring another to action.
It will multiply.
There's no guarantee that we'll win every battle, but if we do that... we'll win the War.
