[Re Flash Memory]
Shane,
<<... flash memory demand going down...>>
I believe the actual problem is over supply, not diminished demand, for flash memory.
Flash memory cards for digital cameras could be likened to film for cameras. Would (could?) one conclude that if camera sales went south, that film sales would follow? Of course, the main difference is that the flash cards are rewriteable whereas film cartridges can be used only once.
LSI's chips go into such a broad range of products in so many different segments of the tech mfg market that it is very diversified. Unfortunately, LSI always gets lumped in with the "Semis" and takes its hits along with the others. This is a big mistake, and should be taken advantage of, when the price is right, either to average down or to get in, on the bounce off the bottom (should definitely wait until a bottom is confirmed, though). IMHO
Good Trading,
