After analyzing my trades over the previous months I have made several observations:

1) News is of little or no value to me on individual stocks or the broader market.

2) My opinions on the broader market direction is crucial in
determining my entry/exits into stock positions. More so than my opinion on the individual stock position (especially during a volatile trading day in the broader market). Constant analysis of the DOW chart, long bond yield, and NDX provide the necessary data for analysis of the broader market.

3) Largest point gainers/loosers provide ample opportunities for finding stocks with large capitalization with good volatility and volume

4) Daily/hourly/10 minute charts analysis of potential stock plays is essential prior to entry.

5) Hard mental or physical stops are necessary to limiting losses.

6) Not holding overnight has changed the nature of my trading from a speculative nature to that of a profitable business venture.
