I am at an age where I see a lot of doctors in a lot of different offices. Just ask any office manage in any doctors office and ask how much time they spend on the phone tracking down medical records and reconciling billing problems. It may not sound like a big expense item but believe me when I say it is.

I have personal experience in trying to get MRI's, MRA's, and blood work from different labs to the doctors office.

I have had trouble getting imaging from Cornell University hospital to doctors on an NYU hospital system. These are two of the finest medical establishments in the world and they are located in the same city about a mile and half apart. I've had to hand carry the images on CD's and even then it was in a different format (IBM versus MAC).
