Well I certainly hope you are correct; however, I have very very serious doubts. I fault Obama on numerous fronts including:

His stimulus package that appears so logically-economically flawed as to be ridiculous. Increased debt and devaluation of currency, whether by virtual cash of formal resolution, is insane in my opinion.

Then we have is his strategy on national defense - that is equally questionable. Considering the proposed cancellation of developmental projects in process, such as missile defense, along with the unpublished consequential disassembly of military engineering and scientific teams should give pause. Good Lord Steve -- are we entering national suicide mode?

How about Obama’s belief in meaningful and bilaterally honest negotiations (in good faith) with the Arab world and/or the resurrected USSR that is more fantasy.

Unfortunately, the balance of power between the judicial, legislative, and executive branches of government is so seriously out of balance that it is nearly functionless. Barring divine intervention, Obama and his liberal democrat house and senate are programming the nation for self-immolation.

Guess we’ll see. Anyway, discussion itself is thought provoking in interesting during times such as these. I hope yours is the correct scenario and not mine. :^)
