actually, that made PE ratios even more important since they were reported lower than they actually were.

because you believed these ultra high PE ratios (factoring in the fake, inflated Es), you concluded the market was headed down as PEs would regress toward more historical norms.

kind of like glenn beck on housing? ;-)
