How can you NOT blame Obama if he is continuing the very same policies employing the very same people (GS alums) that got us into this mess? Obama is not doing anything substantially different than Bush was doing last fall (expect spending even more money) nor is there any indication that he is going to change directions. The markets have voted that they don't like this. Expecting him to suddenly do things like dump Emanuel and find a new direction is nothing more than wishing.

The mess won't get fixed anytime soon because 1) The people that Obama's brought in aren't competent to fix it and 2) They aren't inclined to fix things because it doesn't fit their actual agenda.

If you've heard that Rush Limbaugh is the central figure in the Republicans, you should dig a little and find out for sure. Republicans are extremely unhappy right now but unlike what many vocal non-Republicans on this thread think, they were already extremely unhappy with Bush.
