Sorry to keep beating on this drum but they are only fools if you think their goals for the country are the same as yours. I believe they are deliberately beggaring us for ideological reasons. We need to face that fact if we are to defeat them.

They are not the same but that doesn't mean they are intentionally destructive - the key word being "intentionally." You really have to take on board just how economically illiterate you have to be to be a statist liberal after we've had 70 years of data on the results of the policy.

They want a more equal distribution of wealth and opportunity. They don't understand that their efforts to get this goal will destroy both wealth and opportunity on a wide scale.
