There is no question that Obama will reduce profits for oil and coal. They've had a free ride on the American public for 8 years and it's coming to an end. I for one am glad to see it happen, only in so far as the new tax money or money saved through decreasing subsidies for oil and gas, will go to renewable energy. In so far as that new money goes to welfare or non-energy spending, then I'd be against it.
