Huckleberries are in the same genus as blue berries (Vaccinium) and look similar. There is no comparison in the taste department, however. Huckleberries are much tastier. One species is the best: Vaccinium deliciosum. Even crazy taxonomists agree on that. There are about 450 species of Vaccinium world-wide.
