Bearded One -

I'm curious about something. What makes you think that Sony's new disk, when it finally ships, if ever, will have any greater chance against the Zip than the LS-120 did? Or the EZ Flyer 230?

I'm asking because these predictions of an impending product by a competitor being a Zip killer have been going on for the last two years now. As an example, read the intro to the main SyQuest thread. The guy is talking about how the EZ 135 is going to steal Zip's market. Didn't happen. When LS-120 news hit the wires in the summer of 96, people said it was the beginning of the end for IOMG. Didn't happen.

What's different now, besides the fact that Iomega's lead is even larger, with over 9 million units out there?
