it has an impact beyond the readership when the money gets deployed. Normally I would agree with you but most of the former large money pits are either bleeding red ink and in Uncle Sam's pocket up to their arseholes, or they remain slightly solvent and they are trying to escape Uncle's clutches intact. I don't see who the big money players with influence are now.
