aloha, good to hear from you. i have a boat load of gtw puts. does that give away what your friend should do, imho. they reported a gaping loss of $24 million in the midst of massive successes from dell and cpq. even muei appears to be making money. gtw's asian growth was 41%. NOT!, anymore ;-) gtw has missed 3 qs in a row. their asp was $2,400 last q and likely to be sub $2k this q. can they cut $400 in costs in 3 months? the management is as slimey as i've seen, including mu tout-o-matics. they didn't even mention their operaring loss in their eps report. btw, their accounting sucks, too. they reported about a month ago that they'd make money. they lost $24 million. minor details ;-) run like h*ll before the drunkeness wears off and the hangover sets in... btw, i couldn't find the plug in for the motley fool discussion on dram.
