good news is only 11% of reps consider rush their leader. OTOH, 44% dems think he is.

Most Rs don't find it necessary to have a cult-like leader. They tend to be more independent in thought than the Ds are.

The phenomenon of Limbaugh is pretty much a case of Rs saying, "It is about f*ing time someone was saying what I've been thinking. Where is the media on this?"

The Ds nod their heads in general agreement with Kieth Olbermann, Dan Rather, Chris Matthews, and Campbell Brown, taking that crap at face value. The Rs don't do that. So when they have a person, like Limbaugh in the media, with whom they actually agree, it is a big deal.

The notion that Rs are "bots" where Rush is concerned, as you like to say, is just liberal bullshit. I put it in the same category as the lie that fascism springs from the Right when in fact it springs from the Left. Just something some liberal made up and all, as you are prone to do, jumped into it with both feet.
