Do you think anyone ever payed 90%. Those were the days of tax shelters galore which misdirected assets in ridiculous ways. They had cattle and real estate and oil drilling shelters back then designed to take losses to reduce rates. You and INODE are on the ridiculous extreme end of tax policy. He ignores the costs of being poor and you are proposing a system here that will keep everyone poor.
