Hilarious (video) take-down of CNBC and their Talking Heads, by Jon Stewart of Comedy Central:

Jon Stewart vs. Santelli, CNBC: Bailouts fine for everyone but homeowners

Comedian Jon Stewart skewered CNBC, its analysts, its reporters and its guests last night on Comedy Central's Daily Show. The video is a hit today on the web.

Chief among Stewart's targets is Rick Santelli and his highly publicized rant about President Obama's plan to save what he called "loser" homeowners from foreclosure.

Those loser homeowners should have paid more attention to CNBC, Stewart says, then shows a parade of wrong predictions and embarrassing clips. One reporter tells a CEO it's amazing that so many CEOs she interviews say their companies are doing well. Another reporter asks Sir Allen Stanford -- now suspected of operating a Ponzi scheme -- how he avoided the subprime meltdown and if it's fun being a billionaire.

"If I'd only followed CNBC's advice, I'd have a million dollars today," Stewart says. "Provided I'd started with $100 million."

Stewart says Santelli accepted but then rejected an invitation to appear on his show ("I guess the phrase would be bailed out"). Watch the Santelli-less clip below:
