Well, right now its about 1700 real young people who are about to be slapped down and put back in their place by the Democratic Congress.

Re. the parochial school issue:

First, not all private schools are religious. Even one opposed to vouchers to religious schools, should be willing to support vouchers to non-religous private schools.

Second, re. religious schools, they're 90% like non-religious ones. Most simply add a chapel to the daily class schedule. So one solution for you would be to figure out the percentage of religious to non-religious instruction and provide that percentage of a voucher - say 90%. Or forbid the voucher to be used for the religious part of instruction.
