OT> Yeah, Joe. You are right about that. Have you ever seen so much pork fat in a single bill before? It is probably a new record. I read that there were 8400 earmarks in this bill. That's why the printout is like 9 inches thick. Nobody knows exactly what is in it. It would take months for one person just to read the whole thing. If this keeps up, we become something entirely different than what we want in this country. With the government spending our future earnings at such an alarming rate, we could conceivably be working just to pay back our government...while our government takes care of us! Doesn't that sound familiar? OK, now. . . I am confused. Isn't that the very thing that our boys and fathers have been fighting and dying to prevent?!? . . . on foreign soil?!? Freedom has many definitions, depending upon whom you ask. I guess we need to start a fight for "Freedom From Government Spending" our children's futures. Suggestions on precisely how we should take up that action are welcome. Rande Is
