As for his recommendation of UTEK on the Nightly Business Report, it was not good timing, in the short term anyway. And, the chart indeed was terrible when I mentioned it. In fact the negative press about the semi equipment sector came out after my observance of the lousy technical pattern. So, I read the chart right. Charts are good predictors in the short term. I don't subscribe to his newsletter, so I didn't know he recommended it a while back. A price of 22 was a great buy. I am glad I only took a small position at the higher price. I can buy more at a lower price if I choose. As for your talk about fundamentals, that is part of the story. But, there are plenty of companies with good fundamentals, whos stock does not perform well.
