Well I know what the Treasury does with the physical or electronic dollars it gets for bills, notes and bonds...that is obvious...they spend it, and pretty quickly at that. My real questions is what does the Fed do with dollars that they get from the Treasury when the Treasury buys back bills, notes, and bonds out of the Fed's portfolio?
