as much as I'm a supporter of small government (I wouldn't mind seeing it lower than the percentage they aim for) an extra 2.3% growth a year over 60 years is rather optimistic.


It seems reasonable to me that a significantly smaller federal government would have an exponential impact on growth. In early years it would be good but the longer the drag was eliminated the more beneficial the impact would be.

Government spending is almost never efficient. Spending of government assistance is rarely efficient. Capitalists generally spend efficiently.
