Pentgon Targeted In Suspected Missile Plot

Why isn't this a bigger story? To the liberal media a plot to destroy the Pentagon isn't serious.

WASHINGTON (WUSA) Seven men. associated with Hezbollah, are locked up for trying to make a deal with an F-B-I informant: You attack the Pentagon, we'll provide the missiles.

The type of missile being offered to that F-B-I informant came complete with a targeting system and could reportedly reach the Pentagon. But several agents say the most frightening aspect was a request for U.S. visas to be used in Palestinian Passports possibly allowing more terrorists into the Washington, D.C. area.

Although a few of the men were in the U.S. illegally, all seven were holding valid Virginia Driver's Licenses.

Sameh Ibrahim, Muhammed Jameel Abdelazez, Akram Salih, Ibrahim Fadel Hamed and Ayman Ibrahim along with his brother Basem Ibrahim all lived in Alexandria.

The group's alleged kingpin Amjad Mustafa Hamed, the one who pleaded guilty to trying to sell shoulder fired missiles, lived in Springfield.

"One of the individuals approached our informant asking for the informant's assistance that lead us to identifying them and then we at that point started a sting operation against them" says FBI Agent George Piro.

This victory is just another feather in Piro's cap. As lead interrogator against Saddam Hussein, this time around he was the assistant special agent in charge.

"This is a pefect example of that... a three year investigation working closely with our partners to identify and then neutralize a potential threat" says Piro.

Piro says, protecting the Capitol is a daunting task, while this group is behind bars, it's tough to know how many more may be out there. Vigilance isn't easy with such an ever present threat.
