Obama never said that Health, education, and energy was the cause.

Obama has laid the blame on the housing bubble and the systemic banking failures that were caused by unregulated markets created by the George W. Bush administrations. On top of all this we went deep into deficit because he spent money on a war of choice and he enacted irresponsible taxcuts to people who didn't need tax cuts.

Investments in health care, education, energy, and crumbling infrastructure is the only solution to stimulating the economy sufficiently for us to get the economy functioning again.
