Down Texas way, most residential construction, all phases of labor, have been taken over by Hispanics. You couldn't build houses without speaking Spanish. The general contractors are mostly white and the crew leaders are bilingual. Large buildings and other Union jobs still have a large white component, but it's slipping too.
