I don't believe that. Obama was on Harvard Law Review. He is intelligent. He most certainly wrote his earlier speeches unless they were plagiarized.

Obama has problems trying to sound articulate without a teleprompter, but that does not mean he is a babbling idiot.

IMHO Obama appears to be less gifted in the area of common sense.
