I am afraid there is only one legitimate solution to the trouble we find ourselves in and that is more cops. We need exactly one half of the population to be cops to keep an eye on everyone who is not cops. On second thought that won't work because the cops will have to sleep and let their guard down so at least 75% of the population will have to be deputized to enforce laws and rules nobody understands or can objectively interpret

If drug dealers want to kill each other rather than let them we will have to hire more cops to deal with it rather than legalizing drugs and having that problem quietly go away.

As long as the head soothsayer can spout off platitudes from the teleprompter all will be well.

I wish Mexico would issue a travel advisory for Vancouver.
