I've been thinking about this since the CC. How about Netspeed? They have patents on that modem pooling idea, they have a partnership with Nortel, they are going to use the MOT silicon, and they have a CAP contract with Telus. Westell talks about having the lowest cost solution and a modem pooling system would help. Nortel is also integrating Netspeeds technology into several of it's product lines... ala Westell into Lucent's products.... until later.
