that can happen anywhere. thousands of gun friendly web sites, discussion boards, self defense. just by looking at them someone might make some case for a motive or pre disposition to groundlessly kill or injure an attacker.

the laws are very clear in some states (texas) regarding self defense of person and property.

civil suits are still possible however, and likely. the risk is high no matter what.

i truely hope nothing bad comes my way. but given what i DO know.. i'm not going to remain defenseless under these circumstances.

there is nothing cavalier about it. it is a very very serious issue indeed. anything else i say about it, is more like sarcasm, that i'm armed in the first place. i hate this shit frankly. it is very distasteful.

and just go north of the border and look at what's been going on in vancouver. trust me, i bet there are a growing number of folks who are contemplating a weapon, illegal or not.

mexico is spilling over to all the southern cities as well in the USA. that country is rapidly fast falling into complete chaos. and that's with the army patroling the streets in some cities. think about that!~!

but when the police can't do it, or you are in a situation where you must act, and they are rising in my own city now, what other choice is there??

call it self defense or call it citizen militia, it is what it is, and the reason for it, is what it is, though it sucks!!
