The user named here is misleading. I am not Brenda, but Brenda told me I could use her name to respond. My name is Melinda Ballard. Some of you know me, some don't. At the insistance of our friend, Fred, I have just begun to read some of the "threads" (I guess that's what they're called.) I am not computer literate so Brenda had to give me instructions on how to even get into this chat room. The reason for this communique is simple. I saw one posting that I'd like to respond to. I can't figure out how to get back to that particular thread so I don't know who wrote it. But, part of the content dealt with our mutual friend, Buck, and how much of the recent ado about this stock is because of the ground work Buck initiated. It is about this subject I would like to respond. Indeed, Buck is to be credited for the recent interest in the stock. He laid the foundation for this company and saw to it that many quality investors got involved. I didn't know Buck well. He phoned me about 16 months ago and asked me to get involved at that point. At that point, it wasn't in the cards. But, about 5 weeks ago, I did get involved. My only regret is that Buck isn't here with us to see the fruits of his labor. But, Buck is not the only one who should get a gold star. The company also deserves much credit. Bill Stoddard is a fine person and a solid businessman. If it weren't for his quick thinking and know-how, the food market would have remained untapped. You probably won't hear from me again... My time is better spent on matters directly impacting the company. All the best to everyone and please do call me -- anytime at 512-894-0508. I get my best ideas from you all. Best. Melinda |
