I'd be surprised if that were the case. Unless you just don't read the product of ANY magazines or newspaper.

I will read articles online from the larger papers, but I'm very careful to consider the source. I avoid all the news magazines.

The pro-Obama bias is rampant. Time had him on the cover something like 15 times last year. Totally inappropriate and uncalled for.

Just consider the NYT, where you have Paul Krugman (a socialist) representative of the "left" and David Brookes (a centrist) representative of the "right". The end result of course is that there is no representation of the true "right" and the representation of the "left" is as extreme as you can get.

How will people KNOW the truth about an important topic like health care reform? There will be no resource which has made any effort at all to be devoid of political bias. It'll the the DailyKOS telling us we need socialized medicine and nobody to really counter that view.

This isn't unusual. Still, I'm sorry to see the newspaper industry dying, which it is. Because at least they had reporters. We're moving to a new era where all we have are blogs, and the truth will be lost altogether.
