I don't think the systemic weaknesses of this market are being affected by the President's "talking it down" right now. The seriousness of the weaknesses are obvious and the uncertainties massive. Obama tried to "talk it up" the other day by urging people to buy stocks. Just as useless a proposition as talking it down. Its beyond any world leader's ability to move with words right now..
