This is determined state-by-state. IL is different from TX which is different from NY.

In IL, a person can $534 when married with a child. As usual, my "theory" is upheld.

Food stamps and Medicaid, for example.

If I'm making $300/week I may qualify for food stamps. But if I take a real job that pays more I may lose that benefit. So, I may be better off on unemployment with my food stamps and medicaid benefits than I would be working at McDonalds.

I think you're playing dumb to waste my time.
