"Doing something for the sake of doing something isn't "pragmatic.""

It isn't doing something for the sake of doing something. The initial figures were arrived at with input of economists. That is where they got the projection of 3.5 million jobs, for example. So the overall shape of the plan was done with input from people who know something about what they are talking about. That is about as pragmatic as you can get.

"There's nothing "pragmatic" about cap-n-trade because the end is based on a dubious "ideological" goal of slowing down climate change."

Yawn. You never give up, do you?

"I won't even begin to mention your advocacy of Democrat political games ."

I don't advocate them, I wish they would stop. But I am realistic. You have to admit, it is working for them.
