Hugh, > Ann did not say Cornell Ag is not Cornell, but that it is not Ivy League, as it did not exist from the colonial era.

Cornell was founded in 1865 and is the youngest member of the Ivy League.

The Ivy League was formed in the 1930's, originally for collegiate sports. In that sense, it was not too much different from, say, the Pac-10.

I don't know how the colonial era factors into this.
