Yes Bill you twit, that is what Bush/Paulson/Bernanke/Kashkari did. Remember that Paulson tried to get $750 BILLION into his own private kitty with zero accountability for himself. The imperialist Treasury Sec along with the imperialist presidency and vice presidency have crushed this economy.

After 30 years of Reaganomics, the economy just said UNCLE.

Not that even today Republikans are trying desperately to stop all attempts to stimulate the economy. They are trying desperately to get more tax breaks (is more money transfers from the US taxpayer) to their cronies. It isn't enough that they have destroyed this country's finances, now they want to feed on the remnants.

Why aren't Republikans demanding that the tax breaks for the ultrawealthy are rescinded? What? That's too much for their 'conservative' ideology? The rich need to get ever richer, the corporations need to become ever more corrupt...the Reagan ideology is still crushing us.
