ActiveX has been demonstrated causing systems to be shut down, transfering money from your quicken accounts etc. M$ doesn't like that aspect of the above statement and if they're confronted with it say "Well all ActiveX components are signed" which only means that you should be able to track who did it. The only trouble is, ActiveX is SO powerfull it can erase the tracks as well! I'll NEVER let ActiveX/Internet Explorer on ANY system I own (Even if they do support Java).
