Under "elections have consequences" NPR just reported that Cabinet offices will be directed to consult the AG on the zillion Bush signing statements that often said the executive branch would not or could not enforce what Congress passed. Let's hope those zillion loopholes get closed if there is no genuine constitutional basis for ducking congressional intent.
