Yes I think the previous high of approximately $18 might provide a clue as to what is in store. A 33% premium on that market price would be $24 so I think that you and I are in the same ball park. I agree that they have a lot of operations that most people are not aware of and which have value to an acquirer. But I haven't taken the time to really delve into their operations.

Everyone seems to focus on NDB. But the stock did start to go up when they announced all the strategic alliances re NDB so perhaps that is a key to the interest in Sherwood as well. For a firm without an Internet presence it is far easier to buy than build such a presence. We have had someone post that NDB isn't very good. I don't know as I have never used them. But it is not impossible to improve software so the current capabilities probably will not impact on a buyer very much unless their software architecture somehow makes improvement difficult.

I guess the question for us is is this real or simply rumor? If just a rumor it is nice and provides a good time to get out of the stock. If it is for real, than this is a time to increase our holdings. What is your take on this and are there lurkers out there with some good opinions or actual knowledge?
