You must be 70-years old to make a sexist statement like that.

Not only does it assume there are two married heterosexual adults in the household, it assumes the female does all the cooking. You assume no single parent households, no single households, no retired households, and no households with room mates.

Speaking to your other point, there are efficient means of making meals, including crock-pot cooking, making meals on weekends and freezing them, and making simplified meals.
