People need to be scared. We don't know what to do with our banks. Some are insolvent. Others are so mired in toxic assets its unclear what their capital needs are.

People don't need to be scared. The banks that made bad decisions just need to fail.

No they don't......you talking Shelby's book who hasn't had a good idea in a decade.

Yes, the small ones can fail and be bought up by the bigger, more stabile ones but we can't let the money center banks fail because we don't know the ramifications. That's what has people worried....not the podunk bank of Arkansas but the current status of a Citi bank or a BAC. Why do you think the dow is up 250 pts......Citi said it had a profitable two months. Its Citi that has everyone worried and you can't just close down Citi and break it up like you can the truckstop bank of Spokane.

We've done everything possible to stop it.

They'll either dry up and blow away or they'll come back stronger.

The reason we have gov't is so that we don't have to throw caution to the wind.......and let whatever sh*t happens happen. Do you understand?!
