E-BAY is not the perfect place to figure out the true price of gold bullion.

1. You can pay with credit cards which means that a savvy buyer will get some

2. E-BAY sends out coupons on occasion (like 8% or higher).

3. There was/is a Microsoft cash back program where if you searched for something to buy using their search engine (www.live.com) they would send you a cash rebate if bought from a merchant that they had partnered with. This had a large impact on E-BAY prices for a while, but I think that partnership has been discontinued now.

4. If you contacted any E-BAY seller and bought from them directly (not using E-BAY/PayPal), they would sell to you at 10% discount or higher because of all the overhead that they would be saving.
