<<<<<There are actually alot of people in this country that don't trust computers as far as handling their hard cash is concerned. Some don't even have ATM cards, for pete's sake. There is a huge mind alignment effort that will be needed to convince alot of Americans to trust this technology (checkfree bill-payment/presentation) with their hard-earned money

.......at one time people rebelled against telephones and televisions. there was a big debate about computers......are they even worth it? isn't paper better, etc.? now look at them!!!!

........just got my statement from the bank. for the first time the headline on the envelope advertised on line banking and check pay.

........the cost of computers is dropping--now $1,000......next few years they will drop into the $500-750 range and the number of homes will surge. also don't forget that @home, phillips etc. are getting ready to install net ready televisions!!!!!!

.......there is no rush to buy ckfr, xcit, etc, but don't get too pessimistic about the huge growth of the net and the astounding growth of fianancial services on line. in five years we know that bill pay will be common on the net--all of the research says that these services will swell enormously--avoid this sector and you are risking one of the great growth stories of the decade.
