regarding mergers the last time i talked to kootenay (many moons ago) they were on the hunt for a gold producer( or near producer). the idea being being a gold producer has more marketable currency then just an explorer with some good land. given the market climate i would agree, good explorers will probably not get the valuation they deserve.
