Please explain why you are anti-coal. Despite your alleged economic and national security concerns.

Coal may have economic concerns (marginal)

It only produces around half our electricity. Marginal. Miners, mining equipment and supply businesses, railway workers, power plant workers. A cheap source of electricity throughout most of the nation. Marginal. Ha ha.

but on a national security basis it would be replaced with other domestic energy so no national security concerns.

On a national security basis it is 100% domestic. Doesn't get more secure than that.

As I said, "just in case". If the GW folks are right, we're going to have to act fast, and replacing coal power plants is not a short term project. I don't know either way, but I would rather be safe than sorry.

Finally, the truth. You're against coal for AGW reasons. Why not just tell the truth to begin with.
